Ebb and Flow Rest Camp (Wilderness NP)

North Camp at Ebb and Flow is the quieter, more secluded section across the river via a bridge — a nature-focused environment away from the day-visitor activity of South Camp. Riverside sites with 220V power (blue caravan/Commando plug adapter required). North Camp has its own ablution facilities, plus rondavels and forest cabins. River swimming, canoe hire and bike hire accessible. Half-Collared Kingfisher Trail to waterfall starts from camp.

North Camp tent sites at Ebb and Flow — the quietest and most nature-immersed option in the rest camp. Across the river from main reception via a bridge. No power but surrounded by indigenous forest and birdlife including Knysna Turaco and Narina Trogon. North Camp has its own ablutions, rondavels and forest cabins. Most secluded camping experience at Wilderness National Park.

South Camp inland sites at Ebb and Flow — no power and no river view, but in the lively main section next to reception with day-visitor area and canoe launches. Communal ablution block with hot showers, flush toilets and laundry. Communal kitchen with stovetops and shared freezer. Raised braai stand at each site. Most budget-friendly campsite option at the rest camp.

South Camp at Ebb and Flow is the larger, livelier section directly next to main reception. Riverside sites with 220V power (blue caravan/Commando plug adapter required). Features a day-visitor area, boat and canoe launches on the Touw River, and a large communal ablution block with hot showers, flush toilets and laundry. Communal kitchen with stovetops and shared freezer. Raised braai stand at each site. Canoe hire, bike hire, and the Half-Collared Kingfisher Trail all accessible from camp.
