Joosteswerwe Camping is on the Kokerskolk working sheep farm between Carnarvon and Vosburg, with just 2 large private pitches under old thorn trees overlooking the Boesak River. Each site has its own lapa, power points (bring 35m+ extension cord), braai, water tap, and rustic outdoor shower and toilet. Scullery and laundry facilities available. Small deli sells local produce. Farm dam for swimming. Walking trails and plenty of space for play. Horses used for farm work, springbok and sheep on the farm. Guided morning drives to Khoisan rock paintings. 3 experienced Tent Pegging riders on the farm. 15km gravel road from the R384 (7 gates) — part of the authentic Karoo experience. Carnarvon 48km for supermarkets, restaurants, fuel, ATM and pharmacy.
